(explaination, this blog is written by two people, Greg and Devin)
Greg:
This last week like Devin said I sold RDCM and made 13% profit. I bought it again a few days later at 4.00 with a goal of selling it at 10%. In just a couple days the stock reached 4.65, a 15% gain, but i got greedy and didn't sell. Now it is down, i am sure it will go back up in time but if i would have stuck to my goal i would have a "realized" gain and be able to move forward with better opportunities.
Now that the stock market is down so much there are many good buying opportunities that i cannot get into because much of my portfolio is tied up in RDCM.
Lesson: Always stick to your "goal" or "plan"!!
peace
